We extend our deepest gratitude to Cherelle and Sarah for their unwavering support during a challenging time. Their dedication has been invaluable, and we are thrilled to have them continue in their roles as deputy managers. We are also delighted to recognise Sam for taking on the crucial responsibility of Fire Marshal.

In just over a month, Ashleigh has made a positive impact as our one-to-one worker, providing invaluable support to both our staff and children. Her dedication and growing expertise are instrumental in fostering a nurturing environment for everyone.

- Apply factor 50 SPF protection before arriving at preschool
- Don sun hats and sunglasses
- Encourage hydration throughout the day

Ensuring your child enjoys healthy and delicious snacks during the summer is vital. Here are some innovative ideas to keep their tummies happy:
- High-protein snacks like cheese, yoghurts, and eggs are perfect for grazing
- Turn snack time into fun time with fruit kebabs and yogurt-dipped frozen bananas
- Watermelon pops make delightful and nutritious substitutes for ice lollies. Simply pop watermelon on a stick and freeze for a refreshing treat.

Our Story
The Hendreds Preschool is a charity-run preschool located in East Hendred, providing high-quality childcare services for children aged 2.5 to 5, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. We have positively impacted the community for over 20 years by offering a free-flow environment where children can explore and learn at their own pace. Our team of experienced and qualified educators are dedicated to creating a warm and stimulating atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to grow and develop.

Our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that fosters children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. We offer a range of activities and experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, such as arts and crafts, music and movement, literacy and numeracy, science and nature, and outdoor play. Our programs are led by qualified and experienced teachers who provide individualised support and guidance to each child, while encouraging collaboration and teamwork.

New Additions
We are constantly improving our facilities to create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment for our children. Our preschool outdoor play area is equipped with a range of toys to help wth gross motor skills as well as sensory toys. There is something for everyone to enjoy. We also have a well-equipped indoor area with a range of toys, books, and learning materials that cater to different interests and abilities.

Our team of educators are passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to providing the best possible care and learning experiences for our children. They are all qualified and experienced in working with young children, and undergo regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices. They are also caring, nurturing, and respectful, and build strong relationships with our children and families based on trust, communication, and collaboration.
